JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for assuring the proper planning, scheduling, production, and compliance of cannabis products for sale. The Packaging Manager completes their duties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Works with team to ensure production and filling quotas are met
- Communicates respectfully with all staff including leadership
- Stays up to date on regulatory and compliance bulletins in order to make changes to production schedule accordingly
- Follows and maintains department SOP's for weighing, fulfilling, labeling, and storing product
- Supervises the manicuring and packaging of plant material and infused products
- Ensures all objects are completed compliantly with regards to regulations. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department as assigned
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail
- Train and assist staff with the operation of automated and semi-automated packaging and filling equipment
