We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager / Director within the Business Consulting practice to support our growth in the Oil & Gas sector.
This role will involve designing and implementing business solutions for new and existing accounts, managing cross-functional delivery teams, and supporting business development activities, with focus in the Oil & Gas sector.
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience, knowledge, and network in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and structured, with the ability to quickly understand the background of an issue and provide an effective solution.
Key responsibilities
- Actively identifying market / client needs that can be addressed through EY services.
- Engaging with senior-level client representatives to understand current challenges, investment priorities, developing hypotheses of key problems and co-designing potential solutions.
- Leading the execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members.
- Structuring work products and delivering as agreed with key project stakeholders.
- Presenting findings, recommendations, and deliverables to client representatives.
- Providing support to client representatives for implementing the recommendations.
- Leading and coaching Consultants within the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a reputed consulting firm, with a primary focus on the Oil & Gas sector, or extensive project/program management experience in an Oil & Gas company with significant exposure to top management.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
- In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, including the latest technological developments, regulatory changes, geopolitical events, and economic trends that may impact the industry, is crucial to advise clients effectively.
- Additional sector knowledge and experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change, energy infrastructure, and clean energy technologies would be considered a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present and communicate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
- Highly flexible, including a willingness to work away from headquarters if the engagement requires it.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
