Job Description
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Senior Accountant’s job is to oversee all general ledger accounting activities at the concerned Rawabi Holding BUs/JVs.
Job Responsibilities:
A senior accountant to handle all accounting transactions of our new branch in Egypt, shall work remotely on Oracle to prepare all accounting entries, and his tasks shall include and not limited to:
- Maintain proper day-to-day accounting transactions according to the Egypt laws and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Prepare the monthly timesheets for our team Located in Egypt.
- Taking Care of the Branch Fixed Assets & Properties.
- Monitoring & controlling the Petty Cash records & reconciliation.
- GL, AP, AR, and Collections Records & Follow-Up.
- Prepare Monthly Financial Report to the Management representing fairly the Egyptian Branch financial position.
- Dealing in Professional manners with Egypt Tax Authority & the External audit firm to prepare the required financial reports.
- Any other task which is related to financial/ accounting position which may be required.
Skills
- Minimum 5 Years accounting solid experience in contracting/construction company. (Mandatory)
- Preferred an audit background, or at least a reasonable knowledge in Egypt tax laws & government, Taxing & financial reporting.
- Had worked on ERP systems preferably Oracle.
- Excellent using Excel.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Fluent in English (Writing & Listening)
