We are now looking for a Hardware Design Manager to join a team with highly skilled and innovative colleagues!
Our Hardware Design Manager will soon take on new exiting challenges within Graniten and we are therefore looking for his successor.
In this role, you will get the chance to manage and inspire a team of highly skilled mechanical design engineers and, together you will work with complex, innovational machines and projects. You will support the team in their professional growth and make sure they feel included and empowered.
You will be responsible for managing a team consisting of Mechanical Design Engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals and fostering close cooperation with other teams and line managers. You will be part of the Engineering Management Team and report to Engineering and Product Development Director.

In your day-to-day work you will:
Apply your people leadership skills through a mix of coaching, performance measurement, employee. growth to maintain a healthy and professional work environment.
Manage internal and external engineers working to design, develop and maintain products, as part of our technology and portfolio roadmap.
Manage capacity and competence planning.
Ensure engineering excellence - high quality in all deliveries and following common processes and policies.
Proactively identifying problems and, working to resolve them in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure a high level of employee and customer satisfaction.
Personal qualifications:

Engineering Degree: M.Sc. Product Design, Mechanical Design or equivalent
- Great leadership and team management skills in a context or product development
- Broad knowledge with automation industry and mechatronics technologies
- Broad knowledge within design development and manufacturing technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge in project management and engineering tools
- Experience in working with regulated products, and documentation, or/and Intellectual Property, as a plus.
